3D-Solar-engineering-day - the innovative and cost-free project day for schools

The future should be worth living for our coming generations. That's why it is important for us to introduce already younger students to the topic of climate protection. The 3D-solar-engineering-day supports this aim with technical experiments on solar energy. While experimenting, the students can discover actively and independently more on the topic of renewable energies, and learn about sustainability and environmental protection.

A future-oriented day at school

Together with the students, our project partner, the Solar-Dorf Kettmannshausen, organises a 6-hour project day. Not anywhere, but directly at the school itself. All digital and analogue technology necessary will be provided.

The students can try out 3D-construction, production of models with a 3D-printer and installation. At the same time, experiments and competitions help to enhance their interest in and fun with discovering new things. The project day...

Timetable

» Introduction to project day with all students
» Project work and use of technology with two half-classes each (switch after three hours)
» Evaluation of day and handing over of self-manufactured pieces to students

100 % cost-free

» cost-free for both the school and the parents
» sum of 600 euro for the project day will be paid by Stadtwerke Energie Jena-Pößneck
and Klimaschutzstiftung Jena-Thüringen
