GalaxSea will remain open without restrictions in 2025 - modernization will not start until summer 2026

Dear visitors to our GalaxSea,

In the past few days, we have received an increasing number of inquiries from you about the future of the GalaxSea leisure pool. We would therefore like to clarify: The GalaxSea will remain open without restrictions throughout 2025 and all offers will be available as usual. The closure period for the comprehensive modernization will not begin until summer 2026.

Modern, sustainable and attractive
With an investment of 22.5 million euros, the GalaxSea is being thoroughly modernized. The aim is to improve energy efficiency and create an even more attractive bathing experience.

The planned innovations include:

•    More sustainability: installation of a modern heat pump, a photovoltaic system and optimized ventilation systems.
•    More experience: A redesigned water landscape, an enlarged children's area and new slides.
Outdoor pool that can be used all year round: The outdoor pool can be used regardless of the weather thanks to an enclosure.
•    New theming: A unique design concept ensures an immersive world of experience.

Timetable: Maximum use until the conversion
To ensure that our guests can use the GalaxSea for as long as possible, the pool will remain open throughout 2025. The closure period will not begin until summer 2026 and will extend into the second half of 2027, allowing us to make the most of the outdoor pool season before the modernization begins.

Regular updates on progress
We attach great importance to transparency. The first details of the new theming will be presented in 2025. We will also keep you continuously informed about the progress of the project.
