Renewable Energy Day at the Hermsdorf power plant

On 24.04., on Renewable Energy Day, we cordially invite you to visit the Hermsdorf combined heat and power plant and find out more about green district heating!

Take part in our guided tours of the plant between 2pm and 6pm to see how we generate environmentally friendly district heating for Hermsdorf and Bad Klosterlausnitz. You can also find out how you can use renewable energy for your home and find out about career opportunities in the energy industry.

As a highlight, a presentation on the future of district heating awaits you at 6:30 pm in Stadthaus Hermsdorf . Christian Dornack from Stadtwerke Jena Netze will present the 2040 heat network strategy for Hermsdorf.
