We are strengthening environmentally friendly electromobility and expanding the charging infrastructure in line with local needs.

From love for the region: Since our foundation in 1991, we have stood for active climate protection. Stadtwerke Energie Jena-Pößneck GmbH was founded on April 23, 1991. It is a subsidiary of Stadtwerke Jena GmbH (72.1%). Further shares are held by four predominantly municipal shareholders: the Stadtmarketing Pößneck GmbH (5.9%), the Thüga AG (20%) and Bürgerenergie Jena eG (2%).

In addition to the task of supplying energy to Jena and the region, our founding contract also stipulates the goal of environmental protection.

In addition, Stadtwerke Energie is also active as a cross-linked company in the areas of services and housing via various subsidiaries.
