The heat pump consumes more self-generated solar power and thus increases the return of the PV system.
By utilising solar power, consumption from the electricity grid is reduced. This does not only make you more independent in terms of energy, but also reduces electricity costs at the same time.
Operating costs of the heat-pump decrease considerably by using own solar energy.
With the help of a heat pump, a solar system and an electricity storage unit, you can achieve a degree of self-sufficiency of at least 70 per cent. This means that you only cover a maximum of 30 per cent of your energy requirements via the public grid.
