Girls'Day in Jena at Jena's local public transport system

With bus or streetcar – Jena's local transport and JES Verkehrsgesellschaft bring many people to their destination every day. With 51 bus and 5 tram lines, we connect the city and district and, with around 500 employees, bring up to 62,000 passengers safely and environmentally friendly to their destination every day.

During the one-day internship, you will learn all about the apprenticeship as a driver and training in the regional group of companies. The practical part includes a tour of the depot, test drives in the various vehicles and inspection of a streetcar. You will gain an insight into how the streetcar works and also learn what is needed to ensure that the streetcars run safely through the city.
