Together we
drive better
.
Our campaign for respect, consideration and good humor
Whether on the way to work in the morning, to university at lunchtime or home in the evening, we share our journey on the bus and streetcar with many other people every day. And to ensure that the journey remains pleasant for everyone, we need one small ingredient: respect.
Our campaign „Together we drive better.“ starts right here. With a wink and humorous motifs, we remind people that small gestures have a big impact: No eating and drinking on buses and trains, don't leave your rubbish lying around, show consideration for the driver and other passengers and create a friendly atmosphere.
Because: Good humor is contagious – just like respect and consideration. Join in and be part of a movement for relaxed and respectful coexistence in local and regional transport!

Making of
With our campaign „Together we drive better.“ we are setting an example for more respect and consideration on local public transport. In a total of nine humorously staged everyday situations we show how small gestures can make cooperation on buses and trains better– from „No one in the vehicle“ to „Make way for others“.
In front of the camera are people from the Stadtwerke Jena Group – colleagues who put their hearts into their work. But other contributors such as the American football team „Hanfrieds“ from Jena are also getting involved with all their might. Our videographer Tobi Wagner works behind the camera.
Our goal: everyday scenes that make you smile and make you think. Because: respect always goes with you.
This is what our protagonists say
Marcel Mattick, player for the Hanfrieds:
„Our sport thrives on pressure and interaction, but it always happens with fair play and respectful treatment. And that is exactly what is important in public transport: fair play and respect.
Susan Bergmann, assistant at Jenawohnen:
"Values such as decency and consideration are important to me and I am pleased that the campaign is bringing them back into focus.
Annett Haase, bus driver at Jenaer Nahverkehr:
"I've experienced a lot of extreme smells – from fertilizer to perfume it's all there. But sometimes it gets so intense that it can make you really sick. Caution is not only important for the passengers, but also for us, the drivers.
