Take the bus to the 'Christmas market of wishes

The best way to visit the enchanting „Christmas Market of Wishes“ at Leuchtenburg Castle is on a bus operated by JES Verkehrsgesellschaft. Because on the first, second and third weekends of Advent (2/3, 9/10 and 16/17 December 2023), the transport company is once again offering a special timetable to and from the magical Christmas world in cooperation with Leuchtenburg Castle.
The special timetable offers three departures on Saturdays and Sundays from Kahla, Bahnhof to Leuchtenburg: 11.05 am, 12.05 pm and 1.05 pm. The return journey from Leuchtenburg to the station in the afternoon is 14:40, 15:40, 16:40 or 17:40. All departure times are coordinated with the regional services from Kahla and Jena.
