New overhead line masts in Dornburger Straße

Jenaer Nahverkehr is erecting new masts for the overhead lines in Dornburger Straße. Corresponding civil engineering work will begin on Monday, May 13 and should be completed by the end of July.

Work will be carried out in an area between the Dornburger Straße / Robert-Blum-Straße junction and the Altenburger Straße stop.

The work will take place in the area of the sidewalks on both sides of the street as well as on private property.

The construction work is not associated with any road closures or restrictions for rail traffic. However, there may be temporary disruptions to traffic, for example due to crossing construction vehicles or deposited materials. Jena's public transport service asks for your understanding in this regard.
