Everyday Assistance from Wohnexpress WoX
Sometimes it’s the little things that make daily life easier. Wohnexpress (WoX) supports tenants in Winzerla and Lobeda in exactly these areas.
WoX offers a wide range of services:
- Shopping service: Shopping together or doing the shopping for you, for example if you have physical limitations.
- Accompaniment to government offices and doctor’s appointments: Support with appointments at the social services office, the pension insurance office, or with the doctor, hairdresser, and optician.
- Organizational assistance: Advice on moving, help with finding housing, or support during difficult life situations.
- Applications and correspondence: Help filling out housing allowance, pension, or social assistance applications, and drafting documents.
- Errands and small household services: Picking up prescriptions, securing toilet seats, changing batteries, or performing minor handyman tasks.

Do you need age-related help with shopping or visiting government offices?
Since 2011 in Winzerla and since 2012 in Lobeda, WoX staff have been bringing everyday assistance directly to the people who need it. For a small fee, WoX staff will accompany you to government offices or the doctor, for example, and provide moving assistance during renovation work.
For older or chronically ill people who can no longer leave the house on their own, this is a huge relief. jenawohnen supports the project.
And anyone who’s interested can become part of this strong neighborhood network and get involved with WoX.
