On May 23, our Basic Law celebrates its 75th birthday. The artist Jörg Amonat would like to commemorate this event with his project WÜRDEMENSCHEN.

On May 23 at 5 pm, the exhibition will be opened with a ceremony in St. Michael's Church. The artist together with jenawohnen, the city of Jena and the church district of Jena cordially invite all interested parties to attend. The ceremony will be opened by Sebastian Neuß (Superintendent of the Evangelical Lutheran Church District of Jena). Other guests: Lord Mayor Thomas Nitzsche, Bernhard Stengele (Thuringian Minister for the Environment, Energy and Nature Conservation) and Dr. Friederike F. Spengler (Regional Bishop of the Bishopric of Erfurt). The scenic reading „Die Würde des Menschen ist unantastbar“ will take place as a special item on the program.

The exhibition runs until June 30 and can be found at 7 exhibition venues in Jena. These include the foyer of our head office at Löbdergraben 19 and the shop windows of Kreative Baubüro in Lobeda-West (Stauffenbergstraße 10). Other exhibition venues include the St. Michaelis City Church, the historic town hall, the Bonhoeffergemeinde Winzerla, the Ernst Abbe University of Applied Sciences and the Jena Art Association.
