The Stadtwerke Jena's autumn fundraising campaign is entering the decisive phase: from 10 a.m. today, 14 local initiatives from Jena, Pößneck and the region are presenting themselves on the municipal crowdfunding platform Jena Crowd to collect support for their charitable projects. The projects range from Christmas theater for children in need to the reappraisal of GDR history and initiatives against food waste to training material for young athletes.

Stadtwerke Jena is actively involved in the fundraising campaign. The first five registered projects received an additional starting credit of 300 euros. In addition, Stadtwerke Jena will add 15 euros from the fundraising pot for every donation of 10 euros or more during the campaign period. The funding pot has been increased from 1,000 to 5,000 euros for the campaign period. The conditions apply until the funding pot is exhausted or the individual financing target is reached.

The project ideas were submitted by the initiatives on the Jena Crowd by the end of November. The smallest project is aiming for a target sum of 1,000 euros, while the largest project is aiming for funding of 6,000 euros. The total funding amount for all the fall campaign projects together is 33,900 euros.

The associations, schools, daycare centers and charitable initiatives have until the deadline on December 18 to receive support for their projects based on the principle of crowdfunding. The supporters can not only enjoy the feeling of having done good, but also attractive rewards from the project starters. If a project reaches the target amount set by the deadline, the amount is paid out, otherwise the supporters automatically receive their money back.

At jena-crowd.de, potential supporters can find out about the projects in detail and decide which ideas they would like to support, to what extent and what rewards they will receive.
