Concrete help: Funding for your association
We are always impressed by the sustained commitment with which volunteers in associations care for the well-being of their fellow citizens and their communities. We want to support that.
That is why we have been awarding funding to regionally active associations and initiatives on a donation basis for many years. Many associations contribute to a lively and social togetherness and our „Stadtwerke Jena HEIMVORTEIL“ program aims to support them in their mission. In this way, we make a substantial contribution to the furtherance of regional associations.
Funded are projects in the areas of culture, sports, social issues, education, science and environment.
This is HEIMVORTEIL
In the spring of each year, the funds are allocated. In this, it is important to us that the aid is specifically for a project and that the aid is actually received.
For the year 2022, the application deadline passed. All applications will be considered for the year 2023.
The entry into the program "Stadtwerke HEIMVORTEIL" can be applied for once a year. In addition to the specific project, the associations are also asked to illustrate what exactly their "HEIMVORTEIL" is. Funded are projects in the areas of culture, sports, social issues and environment.
The application deadline for 2023 is the 31st of March 2023. Funding will be awarded on a donation basis.
Moreover, the Stadtwerke Jena HEIMVORTEIL has three firmly defined funding categories:
A) 1,000 euro for five associations
B) 500 euro for fifteenn associations
C) 250 euro for ten associations
Due to this differentiation, 30 associations can be supported each year. We know from our years-long supporting experience: Often, even small contributions make a big difference. Of course, there is no entitlement to funding or the desired level of funding, but every single application is reviewed individually after the application deadline.
All applicants will be informed in writing about the outcome. And: If the pandemic requirements allow it, there will also once again be a common event at the Stadtwerke Jena.

Förderverein Johannisfriedhof Jena e.V., Lesezeichen Jena e.V., Eisenberger Kunstverein, Ortsverein Laasan, Naschhäuser Bornfegeverein, Förderverein Accordion Effects Jena, Heimatgeschichte Bucha e.V., Lebenshilfe für Menschen mit geistiger Behinderung Jena, Feuerwehrverein Hummelshain, Förderverein Freizeitladen Winzerla, Bildungswerk Blitz e.V. Pößneck, Tanzclub Kristall Jena e.V., SV Blau-Weiß-Bürgel, Jenaer Behindertensportverein, Kleingartenanlage Wald e.V. Pößneck.
