Welcome to the team: starting signal for the Stadtwerke Group's new welcome event

Full house, lively discussions and genuine interest - the starting signal for the Stadtwerke Group's new welcome event could hardly have been more successful.

Yesterday (June 2), numerous new employees came together on the Stadtwerke Jena Netze site in glorious weather to get to know each other for the first time, enjoy lively discussions and gain a real insight into the world of the Stadtwerke Group.

The welcome event is part of the Stadtwerke Group's newly revised onboarding process. In future, the format will take place quarterly for all new hires in the past three months.

The goals of the format: 

• A warm welcome,
• an initial opportunity for networking,
• and a shared experience that makes a positive impression when joining the company.

What participants can expect

The event, which lasts around two hours, offers a compact and varied insight into the Stadtwerke Jena Group:

• Greeting by a member of the management
• Short presentations of central areas and topics
• A moderated agenda with interactive elements
• Communal catering
• Time for exchange and networking

The event series is mobile: after the kick-off at Stadtwerke Jena Netze, other locations such as the sewage treatment plant, the Strandschleicher or the joint customer center will follow in the coming quarters.
